Why We Use Premium Australian Hardwoods
Most people are unaware of the quality, durability and natural beauty of Australian grown timber, they are perhaps the most suitable timbers in the world for making cutting surfaces.
All the timbers we use are:

- Ethically sourced: Following stringent government guidelines. Dried in solar kilns.

We think its a shame many people buy imported boards from China, Thailand, Europe and the US, made of inferior timbers like Maple, Walnut, Beach and Acacia. Why source products from foreign countries when we already have something superior in our own back yard.

Our timber comes exclusively from foresting that adheres to a strict guideline for sustainability and responsible sourcing.
This means wood that is harvested and managed in a way that protects forest ecosystems, supports long-term forest health, and ensures the resource remains available for future generations.
- Harvested within ecological limits: Only a certain volume of timber is taken from a forest, ensuring regrowth and minimal long-term impact, even improving forrest health.
- Regrowth and plantation forestry: Comes from forests that were once planted specifically for the intentions of harvesting, actively managed and replanted.
